At least five people have been shot dead in the northern German town of Stande.
According to police, a man has been arrested on suspicion of the incident, and there are reports of a second arrest.
Police announced that a “major operation” was underway in Dankerstrasse, urging citizens to avoid the area and follow the instructions of emergency services at the scene. So far, from what has been announced, the motive of the perpetrator has not been clarified.
