Homemade strawberry ice cream
This homemade strawberry ice cream will be a gentle caress for your taste buds in the summer and a pleasant cooling on a hot afternoon. It is very simple to prepare and you only need 3 ingredients. Frozen strawberries give the ice cream the necessary density, consistency and taste, yogurt gives it creaminess and honey naturally sweetens it. Believe me, homemade ice cream couldn’t be easier.
Ingredients:
500 grams of strawberries
250 grams of Greek yogurt
2 to 3 spoons of honey
Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Procedure:
The procedure is very simple. If you don’t have frozen strawberries, just put them in the freezer for a few hours. Then take all three ingredients and place them in a high-powered blender. Mix until a smooth cream is formed. If the mixture seems too thick, add one more tablespoon of Greek yogurt. And if the ice cream seems a little too sweet, add a little honey. Blend again and you should see a change in consistency to a smoother and creamier one.
Once you have the mixture ready, you have two options. You can either put the ice cream straight from the blender into glasses or small bowls and serve as a soft ice cream, or you can put it in the freezer for about an hour for a firmer consistency. You can add a mint leaf on top to give the ice cream a fresh touch, but if you don’t have mint, it’s not necessary.
