Begoña Gómez, wife of the President of the Government, has asked Judge Juan Carlos Peinado—who seized her passport last week in the context of the case being investigated against her—to allow her to travel abroad between July 7 and 10: to Turkey, first, for the NATO summit, and then to London, where her daughter is graduating. According to sources close to Gómez, the outward trip will be made, if authorized, by official plane and the return trip by commercial plane. In any case, they clarify, it will be carried out with the security team that accompanies the President of the Government, all National Police officers.
