What’s going on? A cold shower for Erika Kandračová: She could have been the main attraction of the Ladies’ Club, but everything will be DIFFERENT!

The sharpest patron is surprisingly spared! The popular daily magazine Ladies’ Club, which has been broadcast by STVR for almost eighteen years, has taken a planned summer break. After her, the show will undergo a big change that it hasn’t experienced in a very long time. After how brought information that TV star Soňa Müllerová plans to pull the handbrake at work, speculation began as to who would help her with her shifts at the Club.

The choice of the radio station surprisingly fell on the wife of the singer Ondrej Kandrač. The charming mother of two teenagers will thus become a permanent part of the anchoring team, which she will strengthen, from autumn. Müllerová is not going anywhere in the words of a classic, she will just enjoy her free days more with her loved ones and travel. However, those who expect that the creators of the Ladies’ Club will want to attract as many viewers as possible through Kandračová in the opening sections of the magazine will remain disappointed. The opposite is true and nice Erika will wait for her grand premiere…

This is also claimed by our source from Mlynská dolina. “The women’s club will return after the summer break at the end of August, and the new season will apparently be opened by the presenter duo Soňa Müllerová and Karin Majtánová. After their week-long tour, Iveta Malachovská and Andrea Chabroňová will join. Erika Kandráčová and Karin Majtánová should not come until the third broadcast week, i.e. approximately in the second half of September.” we found out.

This means that Kandračová’s debut on the television screens will not be the main attraction and lure of the magazine. Viewers are used to many TV projects that the opening moments are the most interesting, because expectations are high and interest needs to be captured in the beginning. STVR decided to go a different route and the bait will not be Erik at the beginning, but the show as a whole. On the other hand, curiosity about how Kandráčová’s joining the team will burn will increase with the approach of her first broadcast. That’s the way too…

The biggest fans of Erika Kandračová will not be the audience, but her family. The husband and musician Ondrej Kandráč is convinced that this is a great choice of a person who has experience in moderating. “Of course, I am looking forward to Erika’s new challenge. I believe that she will benefit the entire Women’s Club and will continue to bring interesting and fresh topics to the audience,” he said in the past for a folk musician. At the same time, he revealed how his wife got to the interesting spot. “Erika has already worked externally with the Košice editorial staff of STVR and also worked as a presenter on TV Košice today, so I think that working at the Ladies’ Club will be an interesting life challenge for her. And we – those closest to her – will always be her support and, of course, keep our fingers crossed.” Kandrač told us.

His ambitious wife has already found herself in the Ladies’ Club. Not as a presenter, but as a guest. “This lovely woman with a nice smile will be talking to you at the Ladies’ Club from September on a rotation with me. Erika, the viewers are very curious now. What should they know about you, how would you describe yourself?” with these words, Soňa Müllerová introduced the new reinforcement a few days ago. Erika is no newcomer. He has television experience. She has also collaborated with STVR in the past. “I started with my husband at Košice television. We did the morning broadcast. That broadcast switched to the evening broadcast, where I was left alone. Later, I received an offer from the Košice studio of Slovak Television and I worked there.” revealed Erika Kandráčová, who fell in love with working for the cameras. However, she spent many years on maternity leave, as she is the mother of three children. Before his premiere, he feels fear and slight apprehension.

“Of course, it’s a live broadcast. You can’t prepare for every situation, but I believe that as part of what can be prepared, I will prepare. One has concerns here and there,” explained Erika with a smile. These days, he is preparing responsibly for the broadcast. “I go to the teacher, I improve my Slovak language,” added the new presenter of the women’s magazine. “We had to go through all that too. You have to learn some things. It’s also a craft to a certain extent. You get better with practice,” stated Soňa Müllerová, who wishes her colleague and her successor much success. Erika revealed that cooking is her strong point and she will definitely feel like a fish in water in the kitchen of the Women’s Club. She also mentioned that medical and gardening topics will also be close to her. The Ladies’ Club show will return to Jednotka screens already on Monday, August 31.
