Authorities are investigating two shootings that occurred in neighborhoods in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, one in the city of Lisbon and the other in the municipality of Sintra.
In the first case, recorded on June 21 in a social neighborhood in Lisbon, a video shared on social media shows several shots fired in the middle of a public street. In the images it is possible to see an armed man, supposedly with a shotgun, shooting between the buildings, while other people leave the place and get into a vehicle.
This Tuesday, a second shooting occurred in a neighborhood of Sintra. The Public Security Police were called to the scene at around 2:55 pm and found several ammunition casings, as well as three vehicles with damage allegedly caused by gunfire.
So far, there is no information about injuries. Authorities continue to investigate both cases and seek to identify those responsible for the shooting.
