The 8th edition of Jazz in the Cellars It will take place between November 22, 2024 and May 31, 2025 and will visit several farms and wineries in the municipality, promoting an experience that values the cultural and oenological richness of the region.
This exclusive event, aimed at over 18s, takes participants to “Another Algarve”where, in each session, the public can enjoy a sophisticated and intimate environment, designed to offer an unforgettable sensory experience.
“In addition to the music, participants will have the opportunity to taste three wines from the host producer and taste tapas made with local products, further enriching this cultural and gastronomic experience”, explains the Municipality of Silves in a statement.
Each of the 22 sessions will feature jazz musicians with varied repertoires, adapting to the unique environment each host producer provides.
O It thus offers “a symbiosis between music, wine and local tradition, reinforcing the commitment of the Municipality of Silves to culturally dynamize the region, especially in the low tourism season”.
Tickets, available for 25 euros, include the concert, wine tasting and tapas, a voucher to visit the Castle and the Municipal Archeology Museum, and the gift of a bottle of wine.
Tickets can be purchased on the BOL platform and at points of sale: FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT, Pousadas da Juventude and Kiosques Serveasy.
This edition has a partnership with the Agrupamento de Escolas Silves Sul and Associação Barmen Algarve, promoting the integration of the local community in the event.
