Inflation in the city of São Paulo rises 1.02% in the first four weeks of November, indicates Fipe

The Consumer Price Index (IPC), which measures inflation in the city of São Paulo, rose 1.02% in the first four weeks of November, gaining strength compared to the 0.80% increase observed in October, according to data published by the Foundation Institute of Economic Research (Fipe) this Monday (11).

In this month’s initial reading, six of the seven IPC-Fipe groups rose at a stronger pace: Housing (from 0.82% in October to 0.98% in the first four weeks of November), Food (from 1.34% to 1 .71%), Transport (from 0.22% to 0.48%), Personal Expenses (from 0.87% to 1.14%), Health (from 0.60% to 0.68%) and Education (from 0.00% to 0.01%).

The exception was the item Clothing (from 0.47% to 0.43%), which showed a deceleration from one period to the next.
