Yarden, his wife Shiri and his 5 -year -old Ariel, and Kfir, now 2 years old, were kidnapped at his home near Gaza, among the approximately 250 people taken by Palestinian militants during the October 7 attack 2023 and taken to the coastal enclave.

Shiri and the children were not among the liberated people.

Baby Kfir was only nine months old when he was kidnapped. Images of the 2023 attack showed a terrified shiri, holding their two children tightly and being taken by the militants.

“A room of our hearts came back to us after 15 long months. There are no words to describe the relief of holding Yarden in our hands, hugging him and listening to his voice, ”the Bibas family said in a statement.

“Yarden came home, but the house is still incomplete.”
