With a double dose of Queen, here is a curious list of verses that many people think is one thing but it is different.
It happens many times. It probably also happened to the reader: likes a song, it starts to sing it all and, in the parts where the lyrics don’t know very well, or invent, or sing more or less what you perceive.
It happens especially with songs in other languages, of course (although in Portuguese there may also be deviations).
The portal made a list of four songs that have a part that has never been well captured by many fans.
The Queen appear in double dose. The first is your big song (in two ways), very famous. Anyone who knows the song knows that there are parts where Farrokh Bulsara – Freddie Mercury, for friends – accelerates in the verses. Interestingly, in one of the most calm parts, he sings “Spare Him Hist Life from This Monsters.” But a lot of people always chant “Saving his life from this warm sausage tea”. It is saving the lives of monsters, not a hot sausage tea.
The other British classic that appears on this curious list is. Another where there are some faster verses. One is “Kicking Your Can All Over The Place”, although many sing “Kicking your cat all over the place”. Kingling a cat would be a little strange; It is kicked in the can.
Now USA, and also a well -known group: REM and yours. In addition to reminding the Lion King, the whole song is confused, in fact. But especially the very repeated chorus, “Call Me When You Try To Wake Her Up” has been confused for years by “Calling Jamaica”. As? Call Jamaica? “Call me when you try to wake her up” is the right one.
Lana Del Rey and the known. The verses are very noticeable. Almost always. Because apparently the verse “I’m Feeling Electric Tonight” was exchanged for “I’m feeling ill like Drake tonight”. No, Drake was not sick and does not appear in this poem; It is really electric feel.
Finally, we add an extra. A song that is not on the list mentioned, but was also creating confusion: from the Skunk Anansie. “Cause i Don’t Want You to Forgive Me” was changed by some, who preferred “‘Cause I don’t want you to fuck with me”. Let’s not translate.
