“Anora” is the great winner of Oscar 2025 And he took the best film statuette for home this Sunday (2), confirming favoritism throughout the season. The production competed with the Brazilian “I’m still here”, “The Substance”, “Conclave”, “Duna Part 2”, “Emilia Pérez”, “Nickel Boys”, “The Bruly”, “A Full Unknown” and “Wicked”.
In all, the feature film won five statuettes at the 97th edition of Hollywood’s main awards: best movie ,, (Mikey Madison), original script and assembly.
In addition to the Oscar, Sean Baker’s feature film has won several important wins throughout the season, such as the 2024 Golden Palm, the Producers Union Award (PGA) and the Directors Union Award (DGA).
