Do you hate ironing and don’t have time for it? These simple tricks will change your life forever and save hours spent with a hot iron in your hand!

Many of us don’t like ironing and even more people simply don’t have time for it. Despite the initial doubts, I decided to try methods that are a simpler replacement of ironing. I was surprised how well they worked. Today I will tell you some of the best tricks, thanks to which you can put the iron forever in the closet. When ironing is out of the question, consider the use of other heat sources – including a steer, a hairdryer or a radiator. You can also hang clothes in a bathroom full of steam or reach for a shrug. It will surprise you how many methods exist that replace the use of an iron.

Hair hairdryer – a quick and effective method against bent clothes

While traveling, if there is a hair dryer in the hotel instead of an iron, you can still remove the folds from your favorite evening outfit. Hang your clothes and spray it with water to make it slightly wet (you can also hang it for a while in a steam bathroom if you don’t have to spray it). Place the heat of the hair dryer and smooth them with your hands.

This trick works surprisingly well and fast. Just hold the hair dryer approximately 15 centimeters from the fabric and slowly cross the bent places. The heat combined with moisture effectively smoothes most folds.

I’ve been using this trick for years, especially when I travel,“Says Maria from Bratislava. “I will save my place in the trunk because I don’t carry an iron at all. ”

In addition, this method is more gentle to fine fabrics that could be damaged by direct contact with the iron. Just a little patience and your clothes will look as if it just came from the dry cleaners.

Make your own means to remove the folds

Try to prepare your own solution for removing folds. Mix one or two mugs of distilled or boiled water with one teaspoon of fabric softener or hair conditioner. Adding a teaspoon of alcohol is advantageous because it helps to make the solution more effectively from the fabric surface.

Shake the solution well, test it at the invisible location of the fabric and gently spray the clothes with a spray. Alternatively, you can try to mix one part of the distilled white vinegar with three parts of water. However, this may leave a slightly acidic odor of clothing.

This household remedy is not only effective, but also economic and ecological. You will save money on expensive commercial sprays while reducing the amount of chemicals in your home.

Use the steaming function – a quick solution without an ironing board

Although this is not a way of ironing without the use of an iron, the function of the steam that contains most irons helps when you are in a hurry – and means that you do not have to waste time with the disintegration of the ironing board. This method allows you to deal with the folds when the clothes are still on the hanger.

Just hang it on the door or in front of the wardrobe to make it easy to access it. You can also use a steer that is specially designed for this purpose.

“The steer is my rescue, especially for fine fabrics and dresses,” says the fashion stylist. “The result is professional and it only takes a fraction of time compared to classic ironing.”

Investing in a high -quality steer may seem high at first, but in the long run you will save not only time, but also money for professional cleaning and ironing.

Place it in the washing machine and you can forget about ironing the curtains. They will have no crumples
