Grande Rio made a memorable presentation in Sapucaí, on the last day of the Special Group parades . With the theme “Pororocas Parawaras – the waters of my charms in the accounts of the Curimbós”, the school brought to life the legend of the Turkish princesses Jarina, Herondina and Mariana who became marine creatures. The parade was a visual spectacle, full of richly elaborate costumes and allegories.

The samba, played by Evandro Malandro, contacted the audience, who sang along. The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, was present, but the highlight was the actress which announced its departure from the school after seven years of participation. His decision generated repercussion between fans and the carnival community.

In addition, Greater Rio paid tribute to Pará artists, such as Dira Paes and Fafá de Belém. During the presentation, an incident occurred with a tripod that had difficulty crossing a catwalk, but the situation was quickly circumvented with the help of the school members, who demonstrated unity and agility.
