Damascus – The Ministry of Defense of Syria’s Islamist transition government announced on Monday the end of the military operation in the coastal region in the west of the country, in which emergency services and eyewitnesses had carried out massacre with hundreds of deaths. The mission was “successful”, Ministry spokesman Hassan Abel said, according to the state news agency Sana. All goals have been achieved.
