I wanted to take a moment to remember someone who was very dear to us. We lost him recently. He was part of the MTV world, my world, and I guess the world of you at home and everyone here tonight.
Liam Payne was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. There were so many ways we thought of honoring him, and I think sometimes just saying it is enough. He had the biggest heart and was always the first person to offer help in any way he could, he brought so much joy to every room he entered and left a mark on this world. Let’s take a moment to remember Liam.
