More than 50 thousand fans are at the Nilton Santos Stadium, in Rio, to watch the final of the Copa Libertadoresthis Saturday (30), between Atlético and Botafogo. The game in Buenos Aires, Argentina, will start at 5pm (Brasília time).
The club organized the Niltão Fan Fest. The idea was to bring together fans who did not travel to the Argentine capital at home. The stadium was fundamental in the campaign until the big continental decision.
From the train stations close to the region to the surrounding streets, it was very difficult to get around. At all entrances the queues were almost two kilometers long.
It was sold in advance, but the expectation is for many more people on the field and in the stands. The lawn was covered to avoid damage.
Singer Suel was the one who excited the audience before the ball rolled. Two screens were installed next to the stage.
In addition to Nilton Santos, the headquarters of General Severiano, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, also received Botafoguenses for another smaller event.
