The elected councilors Silvão and Silvinho Leite, from , entered the dispute for the succession of command of the City Council of . They are pupils of the president of the House, leader of the party who decided to retire from the House this year.
Leaders of other parties, however, express resistance to the two, as they have no legislative experience and are yet to begin their first terms in politics.
The name that previously appeared as a favorite, the re-elected one (União), also linked to Leite, is preferred by councilors from other acronyms and also by secretaries of Mayor Ricardo Nunes (), due to his experience: he will begin his seventh term and is already He was secretary of the Subprefectures, Green and Traffic.
However, he is also tipped to resume the Traffic secretariat of municipal management or manage some other secretariat in the management of União Brasil in São Paulo.

In the party, the understanding is that the agreement is valid for four years, that is, that it will have the support of Nunes’ base parties in the search for the presidency of the Chamber during the entire term of the next mayor. Those in the House are annual.
