The Copa Libertadores final takes place this Saturday (30) in Buenos Aires, with Atlético Mineiro and Botafogo fighting for the champion’s cup, in a match at the Monumental de Núñez Stadium, starting at 5pm (Brasília time).

The duel will be broadcast on Globo, on open TV, on ESPN, on closed TV, and on the Disney+ and Paramount+ streaming platforms.

Atlético is looking for its second title, after its first victory in 2013. Argentine coach Gabriel Milito’s team came first in the group stage, leaving behind Peñarol-URU, Rosario Central-ARG and Caracas-VEZ. They defeated San Lorenzo-ARG in the round of 16, Fluminense in the quarter-finals and River Plate-ARG in the semi-finals.

Botafogo is still fighting for the first cup of the competition. The team led by Portuguese Artur Jorge came second in its group, behind Junior Barranquilla, and ahead of LDU-EQU and Universitario-PER. In the knockout stage, they eliminated Palmeiras, São Paulo and Peñarol.

Júnior Santos, from Botafogo, is the competition’s top scorer, with nine goals, followed by Paulinho, from Atlético, with seven.
