A tragedy occurred in Roncador, on Friday night (29), when a car fell into a dam. After the accident, a 12-year-old girl walked about three kilometers in search of help. She managed to escape the vehicle, but her father, who did not know how to swim, was trapped and was unable to return to shore. Upon arriving at a nearby farm, the girl asked for help, but showed signs of weakness and health problems. Due to her condition, she was quickly taken to a hospital, where she received medical attention.
The Fire Department was called and began searching for the submerged car. The rescue team’s efforts resulted in the location of the vehicle, but the girl’s father was found dead. The body was removed and taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for the necessary procedures.
