He was accused of negotiating the appointment of his son, Guilherme Souza Victor de Carvalho, to a commissioned position at the City Council of Belo Horizonte (MG), replacing his wife, Andreza Campos Victor de Carvalho, who would occupy a vacancy in the Legislative Assembly.
Both are lawyers.
According to the MPF, the appointment of relatives would be compensation for the judge’s support for the appointment of lawyer Alice Birchal to the position of judge at the TJ-MG.
