The week begins with a series of meetings in Brasília: Lula receives Haddad and more ministers

The president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) has a series of meetings this Monday (9), which include the presence of the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad (PT).

Early in the morning, the Chief Executive and Haddad met with another 15 ministers, including Defense, José Múcioand the Civil House, Rui Costa.

According to the agenda of the Presidency of the Republic, ministers Renan Filho (Transport), Silvio Costa Filho (Ports and Airports), Camilo Santana (Education), Nísia Trindade (Health), Márcio Elias Rosa (minister substitute for Development, Industry, Commerce and Services), Alexandre Silveira (Mines and Energy), Esther Dweck (Management), Juscelino Filho (Communications), Waldez Góes (Regional Development), Jader Filho (Cities), Alexandre Silveira (Institutional Relations), Jorge Messias (Attorney General of the Union) and Vinicius de Carvalho (Comptroller General of the Union), in addition to the secretary of Coordination and Governance of State Companies of the MGI, Elisa Vieira Leonel.

After the meeting, at 11:30 am, Lula has a meeting with the Minister of Education. In the afternoon, at 2:40 pm, the president meets with Haddad Vinicius de Carvalho, the Minister of Justice, Ricardo Lewandowski, and the Special Secretary for Legal Affairs of the Civil House, Marcos Rogério de Souza.

The last official appointment on the Chief Executive’s agenda is scheduled for 3:30 pm. This was a meeting with Rui Costa, Alexandre Silveira, Fernando Haddad, Esther Dweck and the director of Planning and Institutional Relations at the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), Nelson Barbosa.
