The oldest is . Released in 1991, this single is the only success of the band’s career. Right Said Fred. Interestingly, the song was rejected by many publishers. A regular presence on MTV’s famous European Top 20 at that time, this pop-dance hit wasn’t exactly erudite in its verses. It was a joke – or “idiot making fun of models”, according to some critics.
Em 2011, Rebecca Black launched. I was 14 years old at the time and I had no idea that this typical teenage song would go viral on YouTube. Several analysts summed it up: “It’s the worst song ever.” The record company even wanted to delete the track from the online world; Rebecca refused.
Rachel Platten It is practically only known because of . Always playing on the radio in 2015, number 1 in several top charts, and even included in Hillary Clinton’s electoral campaign for the US presidential elections the following year. Result: many got tired of this song – especially because it’s another poem without much depth.
