Brussels – “I’m not talking about mass deportations, but it’s also not possible for us to sit back and wait for others to do something,” said Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) in a press conference on Thursday in Brussels about the planned deportations of Syrians Refugees from Austria. According to Karner, the EU interior ministers had “very intensive discussions” on the issue. Those countries that would be similarly affected would follow a similar path.
