In the USA, a resident of North Carolina found a pearl in an oyster she ordered for lunch in a restaurant.
The Daily Mail writes about this.
On Tuesday, December 10, Freda Bryant of Morrisville took her daughter to the doctor and then went to a seafood restaurant with her. “I ordered oysters, I was eating, and suddenly I said: “Wow, a tooth fell out!”, the woman said.
But it turned out that Bryant found a huge white pearl in one of the shells. The restaurant staff mentioned that the chance of such a discovery is about one in ten thousand. The American found a beautiful jewelry box for the pearl. “It’s my pearl. Isn’t that cool?” she boasted. According to the website Pearl-lang.com, such a pearl can be sold for at least 100 dollars (approximately 1900 Moldovan lei).
Earlier, in Great Britain, a man found a real pearl in a dish he ordered at a restaurant. The lucky guy took his girlfriend out to dinner to celebrate her birthday.
