One of the basic ingredients that you should use to prepare a quick no-bake cake is biscuits. This tasty and simple snack can be used as a base and one of the layers of our cake .
In this case, we can use them whole or crush them. If we decide to break them into pieces, it is best to combine them with melted butter to give them a durable consistency. No-bake cake with pudding is the perfect dessert when we are short of time and when we like simple solutions. The basis for creating it is to cook the pudding and arrange the appropriate layers. To prepare the cake we will need the following :
- 250 g of biscuits,
- 100 g of butter,
- 700 ml of milk,
- 100 g of milk chocolate,
- 2 packages of sugar-free cream pudding,
- 4-6 teaspoons of sugar,
- 50 g of dark chocolate,
- 3 tablespoons of cream.
The first step is to crush the biscuits, if you have chosen this option. We do this using a rolling pin or a mixer. Nthen add melted butter to the crushed cookies and mix everything thoroughly.
Pour half of our cookie mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. We tamp it with a spoon so that it is evenly distributed and hard. If we decide to use uncrushed biscuits, we simply place them at the bottom of the dish. Place the cake tin in the fridge.
Meanwhile, cook the pudding. First, mix 3/4 cup of milk with pudding powder and sugar. Boil the remaining milk and only then add the mixture with the pudding powder. Mix everything thoroughly and cook over low heat until it thickens. Set aside to cool.
Once it has cooled down, put half of the pudding on the biscuit base. Pour the remaining cookie mixture on top. Spread it evenly and tamp it lightly. Cover with the remaining pudding and chill everything.
In the meantime, heat the cream in a pot and add the milk chocolate divided into pieces. Mix until the ingredients dissolve. Then sprinkle the cooled cake with pieces of dark chocolate and pour the prepared icing over it. If you want to diversify the taste and appearance of the cake, you can additionally decorate it with raisins, orange peel or chopped nuts.
