The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), lamented this Saturday (21) thein Minas Gerais. Tarcísio made Scientific Police teams available to assist the Minas Gerais authorities in identifying the victims.

The accident between a bus, a twin-train truck and a passenger car happened around 4am today in the Lajinha region, in Teófilo Otoni – around 445 km from the capital Belo Horizonte. More than 30 bodies were removed from the wreckage.
Bus left São Paulo
and was destined for Vitória da Conquista, in Bahia. 13 were rescued alive and taken to medical care in the region.

The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP) reported that it helps the Minas Gerais authorities to identify the victims. The list with the names of everyone involved in the accident has already been shared with the São Paulo Civil Police Intelligence Department.
Firefighters confirmed that the company responsible for the bus is Emtram.
