In the old days, sugar was expensive and not everyone could afford to use it in large quantities. That’s why the housewives found a clever way to Prepare fruit supplies without additional sweetening. The recipe is surprisingly simple, and its reproduction does not require special ingredients or equipment.
- Prepare dishes – Wash the bottles or jars thoroughly, boom and dry.
- Pour fruit – put the small fruit tightly in bottles, shaking them so that they work well. Fill the dishes up to the neck.
- Cook – Place the bottles in a pot lined with a clean cloth. Pour water to ¾ of the bottle height, being careful not to get inside. Cook slowly for about 20 minutes from the moment of boiling.
- Close and store – Immediately after boiling, remove the bottles, tighten it tightly and set aside in a cool place to cool. After cooling, move them to the pantry.
In autumn it is worth reaching for this way and enclose the taste of summer in bottles. This is the best proof that simple methods from the old days are still great.
