Biden vetoes bill to expand US justice system

Boston – US President Joe Biden has vetoed a bill that would have appointed 66 new judges to understaffed federal courts across the country. “The efficient and effective administration of justice requires that these questions about need and allocation be further examined and answered before we create permanent tenure-track judgeships,” Biden said in a message to the U.S. Senate supporting the bill formally rejected.
