The calculation of Poder360 considered the average price of R$320.76 for a basket. This was the value estimated by the (Brazilian Supermarkets Association), according to data from December 12th to 17th, and includes traditional end-of-year products, such as panettone and sparkling wine.
Information on income is from the (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), considering all employed workers aged 14 or over in the 3rd quarter of the year.
