The Federal Highway Police, together with the Federal Police, arrested two men who were transporting more than 100 kg of cocaine-based paste on the Presidente Dutra Highway (BR-116), in Piraí, in the Vale do Paraíba Fluminense region, in the early hours of this Tuesday ( 24).
The arrest was carried out during an operation launched by authorities on the highway with the aim of preventing and repressing weapons and drug trafficking.

According to agents, the men took the drugs from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro with the aim of distributing the cargo in a community dominated by a criminal faction.
