Szekesfehervar/Vienna – As before Christmas, the Vienna Capitals caused a sensation in their first appearance in the ICE Hockey League. The Viennese deservedly beat league leaders Fehervar 3-0 on Saturday and, after beating HCB Südtirol 3-2 on December 22nd, brought the second top team in a row to their knees. The South Tyroleans avoided their third defeat in a row and jumped to first place with a 5:4 after extra time at Asiago, level on points ahead of Fehervar.
