Yvonne Morrall shared about the sad story of her partner Andy († 53)who was healthy and in good condition. However, when they arrived on their dream vacation in Turkey, he started vomiting until his esophagus burstwrites .
After visiting the doctor, it was discovered that he had pneumonia. As his condition worsened, the couple were forced to stay in the country for a month and a half, while the father of five received treatment. Ten days after they finally returned to the UK died of multiple organ failure.
“Andy was my best friend and we had a wonderful marriage. We have been looking forward to our dream vacation for so long. He was treated by a surgeon and spent several weeks in the ICU. After contracting pneumonia, he was put into a coma to allow his body to recover.” said Yvonne, who added that after some time Andy’s condition improved a bit and he was cleared to fly home. He was placed back in the intensive care unit at a local hospital.
“After his death, some days I didn’t want to get out of bed and others I couldn’t stop crying. I worried the most when I was in the house we lived in together because it brought up so many feelings, emotions and memories,” she explained.
The couple married in September 2008 and raised five children together, who were equally devastated by their father’s passing. It was not the first loss Yvonne had experienced. In 1994, she lost her son Benjamin when he was just two days old after he was born prematurely.
