Railon Silva dos Santos, aged 30, died from an electric shock in the early hours of this Wednesday (1), on Ossimar Tessinari Street, in the Central region of the municipality of Capixaba in the interior of Acre.

According to information from witnesses, Railon was going to visit his father in the early hours of the morning to wish him a happy new year, when he ended up being surprised by a high voltage wire that detached from the power supply and fell on the victim and his motorcycle.
As the high voltage wire was energized, the motorcycle Railon was riding on caught fire and ended up charring the man’s legs, who apparently was already dead due to the high voltage discharge.
Upon seeing the seriousness of the situation, residents called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), who went to the accident, but Railon was already lifeless. Both the Energisa team and the Fire Department were also on site to carry out the usual procedures.

The Military Police were at the scene and isolated the area for criminal investigation work. After the necessary procedures, the body was rescued by Necropsy Agents and sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for the necessary procedures.
A police report was registered at the Civil Police Station, where the case will be investigated.
