The Palestinian armed group has approved a list of the names of 34 hostages it has put forward for exchange as part of a possible ceasefire deal, an official with the group told Reuters today.
The official, who asked not to be named because of the sensitivity of the matter, also reiterated that any deal is contingent on reaching an agreement on an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and a permanent ceasefire.
The office of the Israeli prime minister announced today that the Palestinian armed group Hamas has not provided a list of names of hostages “up to this time”.
