Scuderia Bandeiras announced this Friday (10) the signing of driver Nelsinho Piquet for 2025.
Nelsinho, which reaches its seventh season on Stockaccumulates tickets for Formula 1Formula E, South American Formula 3, British Formula 3 and Nascar.
Throughout his career in the main category of Brazilian motorsport, the 39-year-old driver has accumulated three victories and one pole position. In the 2024 season, Piquet was in 19th place in the championship, with 591 points.

Scuderia Bandeiras is a team created by driver Átila Abreu and will debut in the category in 2025. In addition to Nelsinho and Átila, the team includes drivers Enzo Elias and Vicente Orige.
Career
Nelsinho is the son of Nelson Piquet, three-time champion driver and, like his father, is known on the tracks around the world. He began his career in motorsport at the age of eight in karting. He later became champion of South American Formula 3 and British Formula 3.
In 2008, he was announced as a Renault driver, where he remained until 2009. Piquet Jr. left the category marked by the scandal of the intentional accident engineered by Renault at the Singapore GP in 2008. After his dismissal from the French team, the Brazilian took part in what happened. . The driver stated that the intention was to favor his teammate, Fernando Alonso, who at the time was fighting for the world drivers’ title.
After leaving F1, he spent time in Nascar and Formula E. In the latter, he was champion of the 2014-2015 season.
