The Minister of the Environment, Marina Silvareaffirmed that Ibama’s performance in the Block 59 drill licensing process, on the equatorial margin, occurs technical and exempt from political pressures. The statement was made during an interview with the program Rodon the night of Monday (10).
“Regardless of one minister or another to look for Ibama to dialogue, the granting of the license occurs through a technical process, which evaluates the environmental viability of the project,” said Marina.
