In his decision, Moraes stressed that, although Valdemar was indicted by the Federal Police in the case of the 2022 coup plot, the PGR (Attorney General of the Republic) did not report it for the episode.

The end of precautionary measures also allows Valdemar to collect the assets seized by the Federal Police at his home, including almost $ 54,000 in cash, three luxury clocks and two iPhones.
The PL leader will also have his passport back, recovering after 13 months the right to leave the country.
In the formal request for the end of the precautionary measures, made on Tuesday, lawyer Marcelo Bessa stressed the fact that Valdemar was not denounced by PGR.
“While initially figured as one of the investigated, the applicant was rightly excluded from the complaint offered by the Attorney General’s Office, sufficient circumstance to make any personal or heritage precautionary measure decreed in his disadvantage,” the defense said.
