Acre River Level reaches a mark of 14.42 meters this Thursday in the capital, informs Civil Defense

The Acre River level rose another 5 centimeters in the last hours and reached in the early afternoon of Thursday (13), the 14.42 meter mark, according to data released by the Municipal Civil Defense.

From 6am (14.34 meters) to 12 noon today, the spring had an increase of 8 centimeters, remaining above the alert quota (13.50 meters) and the transhipment quota (14 meters).

To date, 13 neighborhoods in the capital have been hit by the waters and 21 families have been removed from their homes. Two shelters are being kept active to welcome the homeless: one at Maria Lucia Municipal School, in the Morada do Sol neighborhood, and another at Madre Hidelbranda school, in neighborhood 15, which currently houses 29 indigenous people.
