Vienna – Tanja Frank ended her sailing career. The third of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro said that she was “in the happy position” to have achieved her personal goal and could therefore “complete”. Previously, Lukas Mähr (470s) and Lorena Abicht (IQFoil) ended their career from Austria’s 2024 Olympic team. The Olympic champion Valentin Bontus (Kite) and Lara Vadlau (470) continue to plan their campaigns for Los Angeles 2028.
