In times of rapid political upheaval in the USA, the US Federal Reserve has not touched the key interest rate. The currency keepers around Fed boss Jerome Powell left the key rate of monetary policy on Wednesday in the range of 4.25 to 4.50 percent. After the January meeting it was the second zin break this year. The Fed took the interest rate turn in September and then followed two steps down.
