The United States led imports of eggs from Brazil from January to March with a total of 2,705 tons, the (Brazilian Association of Animal Protein) on Tuesday (8.abr.2025). The balance represents a growth of 346.4% over the same period last year.
Following the main Brazilian egg importers are the United Arab Emirates, with 1,422 tons (-9%), Chile, with 1,182 tons (+65.4%), Japan, with 846 tons (132.4%) and recently open Mexico, with 576 tons.
“This month we find, more significantly, the positive results of the opening of the United States for eggs produced in Brazil for locally for thermoprocessing for human consumer products. At the same time the internal supply of products for the domestic market is preserved, as they represent around 1% of the total produced in the country, exports represent an important achievement for the advancement of the segment.”evaluated the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
Brazilian egg exports (including fresh and processed products) recorded an increase of 342.2% in March. 3,770 tons were boarded, compared to 853 tons in the same period as 2024.
The value generated by Brazilian egg exports totaled US $ 8.650 million, a growth of 383% compared to US $ 1.79 million registered in the 3rd month of last year.
In accumulated of the year, exports reached 8,654 tons, an increase of 97.2% over the 4,388 tons exported in the same period as 2024. In revenue, growth was 116.1%, reaching US $ 17.77 million in 2025, compared to US $ 8.22 million in the previous year.
