Conar (National Advertising Self-Regulation Council) on Friday (June 26, 2026) suspended betting advertisements on CazéTV that the agency considers to be abusive.

“The changes implemented by CazéTV in recent days in the way it carries out betting brand activations are already in line with the points highlighted by Conar. We received the manifestation calmly and will respond to the body within the established deadline, detailing the measures we have already adopted”says the company.

The injunction signed by Luiz Celso de Piratininga Jr. will still be analyzed by the Conar Ethics Council. Although bets sponsor several events and have agreements with other media companies that also broadcast World Cup matches, the debate is focused on CazéTV. One of the criticisms is due to the way some betting house advertisements appear on broadcasts.

During broadcasts, it is common to see an announcement saying that the odd of an in-game event, such as a Vini Jr. goal, increased. For critics, it is an incentive to bet. “We emphasize that all advertising broadcast by CazéTV complies with Brazilian legislation, Conar guidelines and is carried out exclusively with operators licensed and authorized by the Ministry of Finance.”
