Vatican City – Unlike many predecessors, Pope Francis will not find his last rest in St. Peter’s Basilica, but is expected to be in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. The Marienkirche from the fifth century, very close to Rome’s main station, was one of his favorite in his lifetime.
