A blackout hit several neighborhoods of Rio Branco in the early afternoon of Friday (25). According to Energisa, the lack of electricity occurred due to an external event in the National Interconnected System (SIN).

The company highlights the problem affected the energy supply in Acre, and as protection, by determination of the National Electric System Operator (ONS), it was necessary to interrupt the supply.
“The re -establishment of the service will be done as ONS release,” says Energisa in a statement.
