Washington – The European Union and the USA are still far from an agreement in the customs dispute. “We still have a lot of work ahead of us. We have to find more concrete parameters, elements and cooperation areas to avoid tariffs,” said EU economic commissioner Valdis Dombrovski on the sidelines of the conference of the International Monetary Fund in Washington. In view of increasing trade voltages, Dombrovski expressed concerns about a possible influx of Chinese goods to Europe.
