A research on business sustainability pointed out that The number of companies engaged on the subject has grown and became a majority (52%) in Brazil From 2024 to 2025. The information is from Panorama of Corporate Sustainability 2025prepared by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM Brazil) and the Humanizadas, a data intelligence company.
The edition of 2025 of the Panorama was launched on Monday (28), during the Sustainability Forumdone not Ipiranga Museum in São Paulo. Currently, according to the survey, the percentage of companies where they are already implemented.

A trend pointed out by the survey is the increase in investments in clean energy and decarbonization (51%) and the emergence of “more reliable and standardized” metrics and reports (52%).
More than half of respondents (51%) arise in the future to measure and boost business sustainability.
Participants indicated which actions understand that the government should do to accelerate the adoption of sustainable practices by the private sector. Firstly, the suggestion of expanding tax incentives and credit lines to companies considered sustainable.
Another initiative is to improve infrastructure, such as solar and wind energy, as well as businesses related to circular economy and waste management. The interviewees too indicated as important “Reduce incentives for polluting practices and pricing carbon emissions.”
