US President Donald Trump criticized “false opinion polls” on Monday, which appeared less than 100 days after his return to the White House, according to which his policy has declining support for Americans.

Washington Post and ABC News from last week revealed that Trump’s work performance is approved by only 39 percent of Americans. The New York Times found support of 42 percent in its survey. According to The Post Trump, more than 40 percent of Americans are not “strongly approved”.

Trump challenges surveys

Trump, however, on Monday’s New York Times and ABC/Washington Post surveys as false and coming from fake organizations, quoting John McLaughlin, who he thinks is one of the most recognized people in this sector.

McLaughlin is a close supporter of the President and Republican researcher, who constantly publishes the results of surveys favorable to Trump.

President, who has perceived the mainstream press for a long time as an enemy, accused analysts of public opinion research and intelligence organizations that they are showing “Trump syndrome” (Trump Derangement Syndrome/TDS).

This is a pejorative term used to describe negative reactions to the US President who are perceived as irrational and little regarding Trump’s real political attitudes. This term mainly is used by Trump’s supporters to discredit criticism against him, as a way of reformatting the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are unable to correctly perceive the world. TDS is also used to describe Trump’s supporters and their unwavering support.

Comparison with the predecessors

Referring to the PEW Research Center, AFP recalled that, with the exception of Bill Clinton, and now Trump, US Presidents’ actions since Republican Ronald Reagan have always had an approved level of over 50 percent.

Trump has entered his second term with great enthusiasm: he curtains government agencies, unleashed commercial wars with friends and enemies, and stood up to the judiciary because he wants to move sharply against illegal immigration.

AFP notes that public opinion polls reflect increasing distrust of the White House economic policy. However, the pessimistic moods have obviously not yet reached the core of Trump’s supporters, whose admiration for the president remains mostly strong – in good and evil.

Public opinion polls have pointed out that the current low trump ratings, which the company always distributed and “played”, are essentially the same as in 2017, at the same time of his first term of office as the US President.

In the current politically “hyper -dredged” America, 70 percent of Republican voters and independent voters close to the Republicans supports increasing tariffs, while 90 percent of the Democratic Party voters are against it, the PEW Research Center cited by AFP is based on AFP.
