From MediaMarkt to the Ministry: Germany receives the first minister of digitization


It was twelve years ago that the then German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared the internet into new territory. In the German Ministry of Digital Questions, however, someone should finally move in who really has an idea: The outgoing minister Volker Wissing – in the Bread Recorder Lawyer – is now followed by Karsten Wildberger, CEO of Ceconomy AG, which is behind the electronics chains MediaMarkt and Saturn.
