Rome – The current run of Austria’s best tennis woman, Anastasia Potapova, came to an end on Monday in the round of 16 of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome. The 25-year-old newcomer lost to Jessica Pegula, fifth in the world rankings, after a strong first set and 1:38 hours 6:7(6), 2:6 and thus also lost her sixth encounter with the American. Her original plan was to compete in Strasbourg before the French Open.
