The minister Alexandre de Moraesdo Supreme Federal Court (STF)rejected this Monday (28) a PSOL action contrary to the construction of a wall in Cracolândiaregion located in downtown São Paulo.
With 40 meters long, the structure can be found at General Couto Magalhães Street, in the Santa Ifigenia neighborhood. The place is known for the presence of drug addicts.
In the letter sent in January this year by PSOL parliamentarians, there is the measures of the precautionary decision of the action that are being disrespected by the City of São Paulo.
Now the case goes to the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) for “science.”

Federal Deputy Professor Luciene Cavalcante (SP), State Representative Carlos Giannazi and Councilman Celso Giannazi, all from PSOL.
She was referred to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, who is a rapporteur of the Fundamental Precept (ADPF) non -compliance with the guidelines of the National Policy for the homeless population – a process that is already being processed in the STF.
According to the city hall of São Paulo, the wall was built in May 2024 to “replace the sides that were frequently broken in pointed parts, offering a risk of injuries to vulnerable people, residents and pedestrians, and impairing circulation on sidewalks”.
