The turnout in the Vienna election has decreased again: In the Corona election year 2020, 65.3 percent of those entitled to vote gave their vote in the municipal council election, this time it was only 62.7 percent. However, this is not a historical low: In the 2005 election, the turnout was only 60.8 percent – before they temporarily increased properly in the 2010 and 2015 urn.
